Your booking confirmation will be emailed to you on the email addressed supplied on the booking form indicating that space has been reserved for you on the dates required.

Our maximum pitch occupation allowance is 6 persons in a unit including infants

Acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a specific pitch or ability to offer our ‘extra’ facilities. However we will try to accommodate a pitch request if possible. The pitch space allocated will be based upon the information supplied by you at time of booking. However if WE (Blue Hills Touring Park) cannot offer a pitch space in line with your original booking requirements we would refund your holiday space deposit but you will have no additional claim against us. In the event of a booking being cancelled due to events outside of OUR control we will consider re-arranging a booking to an alternative suitable date within the same operating season subject to availability. We refer above again to our advice re insurance.

PITCHING We charge ‘to pitch’ and adhere strictly to the ‘space’ rules to comply with site licence & fire safety conditions. We allow up to approx. 9 metres for a standard Caravan/Motorhome pitch (3m for unit & allowance for awning and parking space.) Tent pitches will be spaced a minimum 6 metres apart. Any additional items will only be allowed for if space availability permits and these must be pre-booked at time of booking. In most cases vehicles can otherwise park in front of unit or off pitch.

We allow official style Dog pens/cages (NOT beach windbreaks or ‘net’ fencing) to a max width of 2.5 metres. To use a dog pen with an awning please advise at booking so we allow a suitable pitch space if available. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can fit both your booked-in unit & any pre-booked ‘additional’ item on the pitch space allocated to you.

BACKPACKER pitch allows for 1 – 2 persons with a 1-2 man tent, NO motor vehicle (push bikes allowed)

GAZEBOS We are happy to accept Gazebos (max. 3 metres) however it must be noted that on the North coast the winds can be very strong and it is advised these are taken down in these conditions to avoid any damage to the gazebo itself and other neighbouring units. Sided gazebos MUST be pitched as instructed allowing regulation spacing on pitch . Charges for sided gazebos reflect the space allowance required. N.B. In Peak times we do not allow SIDED gazebos on Caravan pitches if an awning is also required.

Acceptable recognised camping accommodation is expected. We do not permit sleeping in cars or vans/works units. Definition – the vehicle must have at least one rear or side opening window to be considered acceptable. *
